System One, Ring Switching:
I would like to be availed a lantern healer whom I could switch rings at will, but that leaves us with the caveat that only females are allowed to be Star Sapphires.. which suits me fine. I have a female nature healer I would much prefer to be a Lantern and I would buy a extra char slot to make a male Blue Lantern, with both being able to switch to Indigo Tribe.
A 'ring cooldown' like an armory cooldown could be implemented to give time for the servers to load each blue/violet/indigo variant. this also sticks with lore, as removing your ring (for the other corps except GL and YL) is said be very 'draining'. Within the style menu in the section for skin colour etc an option for up to 3 colour squares, each one representing a ring.
System Two, Permanence;
If it was decided this would be technically expensive to switch rings, that the new coding would cost too much to implement.... and IF it was decided you could not switch beyond; the character power select screen or power switching token..
Then this would be MUCH cheaper to implement rather than a ring switching system. Power choice directly. All three powers would be near identical, with only cosmetic changes, esp. the power colours and ring colours.
The ideas put forward here, are the culmination, of RL/GL/YL, with a sympathetic emphasis on the Red Lantern 'damage-out-healing', and the Infinite Combos of the GL/YL corps. Like the RL 'Infuriate', the damage-out-healing for all group members, but is now without the need of a super charge. Of course there is a HoT and Priority heal, which is restoration based, but the other powers work together to make an effective healer while encouraging much damage.

Blue Lantern for both hero genders, available from the vendor in Mogo (cr 97 'Shepherd of Adara')
Indigo Tribe available for both genders and both factions in WT/HoD (iirc around 110-120 cr 'Vesture of Proselyte')
Star Sapphire for Females of both factions as a reward in Love and War (iirc 97 'Heart of the Predator' )

The only remaining Lantern power would be Orange with the 'Avatar of Ophidian' available in HoD.. but since it would most likely be a controller power (Mepps once said this on a live stream) and the only person in canon that is supposed to have a Orange Lantern ring is Larfleeze, Agent Orange.. IMHO I can never see it going to be a powerset in DCUO, much like White and Black are too OP, Larfleeze isn't deputizing (giving rings to..) anyone.
Morality vs Faction
On the subject of Star Sapphires..and if they are hero or villain, they are both, Carol Ferris is a hero.. and The Predator is a villain.. a being who encases other beings in crystal with a view to brainwash them using a ring to continue the influence over them into mindless drones. So yeh.. villain.
Actually it's quite a dynamic between Carol Ferris and the Predator.. the Predator's number #1 lantern is a hero. This is smart, as even as Carol will not always obey.. she can inspire love easily.
Fwiw, I have never seen a male Star Sapphire amongst the mobs. This correctly fits the lore.
Indigo Tribe work with Sinestro corps Red Lantern Corps, Green Lantern Corps & Blue Lantern Corps; and see no difference between them. They are neutral. This is the story told in DCUO and part of our world.
Hope and Life can only be heroic.
Compassion is neutral.
Love is both hero and villain.
Avarice is villainous with shades of neutrality.
Death is double villainous even to the villains.
Fear is heroic to themselves and villainous to others.

Carol Ferris (Queen Star Sapphire)
While The Star Sapphires have 'Fan' from GL/YL, Carol herself shows many more moves.
She has a unique variant of 'Lightblast'. ..like RL Ragebringer, these are similar. In the video this is called 'Violet Light Blast'.

During the power, the blast targeted allies and enemies, and after the above move, the Star Sapphires had a defence buff, meaning it could be an opposite to Lightblast in Controller stance. And be a Healer defence buff.
Another variant is called 'Passionate Embrace', with wavy lines instead of straight.

There is also a unique variant of 'Handclap' which has two sets of hands.

Saint Walker (First Blue Lantern)
Walker already has a legends character, I used : this : video by Kreese2007 to find out his moves. thanks to him.
Salvo of Adara, is a very loose variant of 'Ram' with a few improvements for DPS. The shot is 5 fold and becomes wider the further out your are.
Munk seems to have a non-supercharge variation of the blue lantern 'Hope'.

Ever been in a raid.. and the healer prefers to spectate rather than participate? yeah, that's Indigo-1.
I am of course joking. I have been in that duo many times and she has helped. however after researching a few YT vids.. and her just standing watching during a boss fight, i thought it was funny.
Indigo-1 has a second variation of 'Hope', this time it blasts a huge circle of blue light from the epicenter.

Having both a Green and Blue ring limits our knowledge of available Healer class lantern Heal/DPS abilities. but here are his powers.
While Construct Pencil is green, it could be retconned into DPS equivalent/variant of 'Entrap' if a book was added to snap close on the enemies. Variants could be : Construct Rose; entrap enemies of Love in light construct heart shaped chocolate boxes and let them know the pain they cause with a single construct rose. Construct Rubber Baton; entrap enemies of compassion within light construct rubber balls and make them feel the pain they cause with a construct rubber baton.
"Inspired Blast" is a variant of "Azure Shockwave" and the seemingly devastating "Absolute Devotion".
FWIW, Lantern Ward is my preference for the Lantern AOE Damage-out heal. With a 'Pull' instead of 'Push' effect, for making a 'Tank Mat'.. (the healer lays down the mat and Tank stands on the mat pulling mobs toward the center, while the group, gets damage based healing, players do not need to be in the AOE but mobs do)
Mind Over Matter, is a construct shield, I could easily see this being you + 3 group members, much like the other healers. Imho should time based, and damage in + power in.
Conflagrate is a power very unique to Kyle, I would think it like, Amon Sur's Yellow Lantern pet. Only he can do that.
A 'Inspired Blast' variant imho, should be the HoT and a variation of 'Recharge' for priority heal.
^ With the #statsmatter updating coming we will not need to have separate trees.

If so, they have 2 Lightblast variants and the original. There is also 'Construct Grenade' adding one more power.

I would suggest fireflies instead of the small bear traps for the healer chompers variant.

Have you ever been in a raid.. and been a hairs breath close to beating a boss? a healer could reserve this SC for the last 60 seconds of the fight. Making it a very meaningful SC..but with it being a 100% not very easily attained and so could not be abused.
Animation locked in place for the duration. suggested time 60 seconds.
Reparation
hehe kind of proud of this one.. seems like a dud until you think about it. So for the group to do the most damage they all need to stop hitting, this builds teamwork, the mobs will be wiped out when just one of them hits, sure there is the danger a group member might die, but for best results leave the longest. rem *even* being close to a mob as [Assault] will aggro them, you dont need to hit them!
Imagine as a tank, you are *just* about to die, and the healer hits up this power, and the group realizes and stops. wow.. cool! Rejuvenate would be passive and draw no aggro from the mobs.
So stopping means everyone, inc the Tank can have a quick break and get a heal.
Group Shielding
You + 7 group members, shielded. Healing over time. without power over time. Healer equivalent of GL/YL SC Group Shielding with Healing over Time instead of Power over Time. Usable while controlled. 50% SC.

It's very hard to take a picture of because it *seems* to be a 'chain lightning' effect
I'm not sure.. in fact, I can't really see anything except the SS Vanguard's animation, which is a bit like the kryptonian air punch but without the arm going up.
