So back in umm.. May 2015* I first posted an idea about the above.. I *think* I've posted a couple of times since of this.
I would like to draw attention again to this an option.. and something I left out in the previous posts.. this could be a marketplace money spinner (I *think* this is in other MMORPGs) for Daybreak.
I feel sharing your materials with Pet Powersets should be free.. making say Crystal or Fury or w/e you like say Cosmic or Pheonix.. if you have a pet powerset I feel there should be a freeing up of sharing auras and materials.
But for the Iconic Pet.. this is where things get interesting..
Unlocking the Iconic Pet with a skill point. Gives you only the Iconic Pet.. vanilla.
Unlocking the Iconic Pets skill tree with a second skill point of yours unlocks the ability to add styles & change colours.. including your already owned auras.
*But* this would also mean in marketplace being able to buy Iconic Pet skins which to use would be listed in styles next to your auras. I feel 300 MP cash per pet style would be fair.
To be clear.. I am *not* saying to dress the pet*.. to explain:
Imagine the Iconic Pet but as a Green/Red/Yellow Lantern construct.. or as Hummingbird (Nature) or Fire Sprite (Fire) or as an Ice Golem* (Ice).. all with complimenting styles to the powerset.. but you could have a Fire Sprite but be Ice.. this seems like it would do more damage but we are only talking cosmetic effects except when you come to the next part which needs to be *earned*..
DCUO as a game rewards players with extra damage if they use contradictory powers.. like say.. hitting a mob with Fire then Ice.
The damage should only be cosmetic and not include PI.. unless you drop say.. 40?/80?SP into the Pets Skill Tree, this in my suggestion unlocks the PI Ability (which would act much like Gadgets ability.. either upping the original powerset damage or contradictory powers). This increases the likelihood of players buying more pet styles to try and see which does the best damage for their play style.
The Iconic Pet .. I feel should be able to do all four Roles and be saved to armories. If you want to make your Iconic Pet a Tank.. you choose that role with 1 SP (others become greyed out) and spec accordingly.
Once all skills are unlocked.. a final reward a Pet Supercharge.
None of the other Pet Powersets pets have a supercharge.. and if you have sunk say 120SP in total into your pet, maybe you deserve a reward?
I'm not 100% about that Supercharge.. but the PI and Roles.. I am 100% sure on. If you are sinking loads of SP into your pet.. then you should be able to get the return. All these pet systems *I feel* add significant additional depth to the game.. make the game more engaging, involving and immersive.
One final thing.. that I still like from May 2015.. naming your pet:

A mirror version of Barbatos lives here, in a sickening twist he devours people from each of the 52 mini-realities.. each reality the size of the local galaxy cluster.
There is no 'source wall' within this group of mini-realities.. and Barbatos goes where he pleases. As he devours them he gains their powers.
Each mini-reality has a 'mirror' of the 52.. Mirror-24 Battle Armor Superman has started a Mech war in his mirror world. Mirror-25 Power Girl got all her clones pregnant who in turn got all their clones pregnant and so on.. until the Mirror-25 mini-reality was filled with Power Girls who could not control themselves.

Earth-28 [Fanfic Fun]

This is a 'Twin Brother-Verse' born as a leftover from the amalgam.. an 'allegory-verse'.
Earth-28 has a team of Earth's most mightiest heroes The Advantagers with:
'Major USA'
'Steel-Man'
'Bulk'
'Raiden'
'Violet Spellcaster'
And many more..
Earth-28 is on the banned no-fly speedforce list for a very specific reason.
Earth-28 drains superheros of other realities of their powers, and vice versa.. superheroes from this reality are powerless in other realities. Once you come here, you find it near impossible to leave for another reality.

The time it took to create this reality means the Earth was not formed until billions upon billions of years later.. the last stars are going out and the molecular bonds are decaying.
Survivors are Wonder Woman, Bizarro and Superman on a decaying rock, floating in space around a dying star.
Merely 3 million years before they enjoyed a life much like the JLA of many Earths.. but because this Universe was already very very old when life emerged, everything is now dying.
The last three beings in existence.. Superman has gone mad trying to think of a way to escape, Bizarro has become a caretaker to all three of them, and Wonder Woman uses her gauntlets for molecular cohesion as best she can to keep the small band alive.
None of them are aware of the Multiverse. By the other realities standards.. all three are quite mad.. gone mad with the stress and pressure as their reality breaks down in its most fundamental form.
Earth-27 is on the banned no-fly speedforce list due to the strange potential of this realities Superman, if he was exposed to a fresh sun from another reality it would most likely instantly rejuvenate him.. however it would do nothing for his sanity. This could range from.. well meaning never letting anyone die.. to taking over the universe and regulating life.
This realities superman has spent millions of years in twilight.. the sky is no longer blue, there is insufficient sunlight to fly.. Clark is broken in the worst way possible, he saw no hope. And kept on seeing no hope for millions of years.
I dub him 'The Existential Crisis Superman'.

Power Girl.. who for many years has been rumored to be auto-sexual (attracted chiefly to herself) came out of the closet by making Wayne-Tech clones of herself. Then going on to.. well you can imagine.
Earth-25 is on the banned no-fly speedforce list due to the procreation of this reality.. both men and women can have children here. Even if you are male and from another reality.. there is still a chance you could.. well you know.
Pregnancies take 2 years and the children are put into slumber chambers until they are adults. The males have sacks.. a flap on their abdomen for the child to gestate. But since Earth-25 was discovered, one male from another reality .. has successfully gotten pregnant.
The Mother Earth-25 Wonder Woman the Father Earth-16 Martian Manhunter.
This child went on to be the most powerful super of this reality. His fathers different set of emotions mixed with an Earth-25 mother.. has led him to be the first being in this reality with all consuming anger..

This is a desperate universe.. so very very alone in its aloneness..so very hard in its desperation.
In Earth-14.. Nekron was successful against the joint Lantern Corps, against all beings who strove against him* only Hal Jordan survives..
Hal with his 36 GL rings on his fingers and his beard that is so long it hits his groin..
Earth-14's Hal Jordan is *thee* most badaz Lantern to every wield a ring in any reality.
Due to Nekron being so very powerful here.. Earth-14 is on the banned no-fly speedforce list . Earth-14 is simply a pitcher plant of a reality.. drawing in hapless people like flies to a trap..
Perhaps one day.. Hal will find a way to restore everyone.. but not today.
Except The Spectre and of course 'The Presence', who has decided that so long as Hal is alive, there is hope of restoration.
