Over the last 2 years.. a thought has consumed my gameplay, the whole time I am playing, I cannot stop thinking about a Lantern Healer powerset. This has cut into my RP thinking time sharply.
People seem to think the powerset should be one corps or another.. but I want to share more fully, how it is we can have all three remaining Lantern Corps*.
Much like we have for armories which we can switch, the powerset itself changes colour but not ability, in the style menu, I suggest for a Lantern Healer a choice of appropriate colour rings.. see below
When we change rings.. we get an effect like an armory change, except it drains us of all power, and almost all health.. this gives the servers time to change the colour of your powerset.. and only when the server is ready does your power return. This is also in canon with how the rings work as it is draining to remove a ring.
Have you ever used a powerset switching token?.. have you seen how quickly the servers can switch your powerset? All we are doing here is; changing the colours.

As you can see there is enough to make a start on a Lantern Healer Powerset.
Put simply; I am suggesting one new powerset that changes colour to the appropriate Corps.
I would suggest.. much like our Red Lantern 'Infuriate' which is a damage out heal for the group all extra healing abilities are: increase critical hit chance, and damage out = healing in. With a Priority heal and HoT independent of this strategy based on Restoration.
This would be a new style of Healer, being might precision and restoration based.
It means everytime certain healing powers are used the groups critical hit chance increase.. the more the healer puts into might the greater the critical hit is for those using might based powers.. the more the healer puts into precision the greater the critical hit is for those using weapons..
Insignia (+ 10% Critical Hit Chance) + 100SP in Might = Bonus 10% Crit Chance + 10% Bonus Crit damage.
Hit Points are Hit Points and how much damage you do is how much health you get back.
And similar for precision but with the maths worked out differently/better
(I don't know current Precision/weapons that well)
As you can see I have thought about this a lot in 2 years.
In fact.. whenever I log it's pretty much all I think about except opening up cities (Central City and Coast City).
This system gives everyone what they want without having to keep making Lantern Powersets.. Lantern Corps Leagues can finally have only Lanterns.. and I can stop being compelled to think about this almost everyday.
The above is: sensible, low cost/free, and provides longer lifespan to the game.

After thinking about it.. the above map is already within the canon of the game..
As on both Hero and Villain sides we have with vendors this:
The vendors already reflect this but with the addition of Orange Lantern for male and female on Villain side.
